カンノンチク
茎が集まって大きなコロニーを作り、高さ3m、直径1.5cmに達する。耐久性のある葉鞘と繊維質な葉で覆われている。花序は葉の間にあり、管状の包葉、26 cmの葉軸、11cmの花軸で分枝している。雄花は長さ6mm、萼片は管状に結合し、花弁は管状に結合している。果実は黄色で、球形から楕円形、1 x 0.8cm。屋外植物だが、半日陰を好むため、ヨーロッパでは観葉植物として利用されている。
