ツゲ “フォークナー”
常緑低木で、通常高さ2〜3mになる小高木である。葉は明るい緑色で、長さ10〜25mmの楕円形、先端は丸みを帯びています。
通称：ツゲ 生け垣や花壇、さらには鉢植えにも使われる。剪定に強く、さまざまな形が楽しめるのが面白い。動物の形をした剪定や、密集した生け垣によく使われる。
日向、半日陰、日陰でも育てられる、育てやすい植物。高温や低温、病害虫にも強い。
