ナンテン
竹のように伸びて、高さ2mほどになる非常に装飾性の高い低木である。葉は複葉で槍状であり、成長するにつれて色が変化し、赤から始まり、緑を経て、再び赤で終わり、落葉する。夏には20cmほどの花穂に白い花を多数つけ、後に小さな赤い球状の派手な実をつける。
