Lagerstroemia Indica
The tree of Jupiter is a woody, deciduous plant with intense, green, shiny leaves in summer, and in autumn before falling, they change to golden, red or purple shades. It has a twisted trunk and a very smooth light brown bark.
The flowers grow in beautiful little red, pink or white bunches and flowering occurs from the middle of the summer to the beginning of autumn. It is a sight to see! It thrives more in temperate regions but can adapt to other colder climes as long as it is protected from frost.
