Lavandula Dentata
Common name: Lavender.
The lavender is an evergreen plant which grows to around 90 cm in height. Its leaves are spear-shaped with slightly serrated edges. The flowers are bilabiate, of an intense violet-blue colour which come in sprigs. They are extremely fragrant and stay on the plant from the end of spring to the beginning of autumn.
Lavender has antiseptic, antispasmodic and invigorating properties.
Origin: Azores and Canary Islands.
Little water. Sun or semi shade.
