Strelitzia Augusta
Common name: White strelitzia.
An evergreen rhizome plant originally from Africa, this plant can reach a maximum height of 10m. Its leaves are big, spear-shaped and wide and can be up to 1 m in length. Its flowers come from white buds which blossom in summer. It does not cope well with frosts.
Origin: Southern and subtropical areas of Africa.
